In the opening exhibition Magnum: A World of Photography, FOTO ARSENAL WIEN deals with distribution and archiving strategies using the example of the world-famous agency Magnum Photos. Insights into undiscovered and otherwise secret working processes from contact sheets to vintage exposures to darkroom works provide insight into the world of photography.
On display are over 300 exhibits of contact sheets, slide positives, vintage photographs and books - from Robert Capa, Dennis Stock, Inge Morath, René Burri to Susan Meiselas and Martin Parr.
